Products

  • Care & Maintenance

    1000D Nylon Fabric is tough but it isn't indestructible. Keep your nylon tool gear in top shape.

    • Brush off jobsite grit daily, and wipe down with a damp cloth as needed, and let it air dry.
    • Occasionally shake out debris from the inside.
    • Avoid prolonged sun exposure and heavy chemical cleaners.
    • For stubborn grime, use mild soap and water.
    • Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.

    Abrasions or small tear repair - If you notice any abrasions or small tears, it's important to act early before they spread and worsen.

    • Catching minor damage early can prevent it from becoming irreparable, especially in high-stress areas like seams, corners, or straps.
    • Use a nylon repair tape or fabric patch (such as Tenacious Tape or Gear Aid) to seal the area. Super Glue will do the trick in a pinch on small areas.
    • Make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying the patch.
    • For added strength, you can stitch over the damaged area with heavy-duty thread.

  • How to Measure

    Don’t use your pant size — it won’t give you an accurate fit.
    Instead:

    1. Measure snugly around where you wear your tool belt (typically worn on the hips).
    2. Use a string or tape measure to find your exact circumference.
    3. Measure over your normal work clothes and account for layers if you work in different seasons — cold-weather gear adds inches.

    💡 Example:
    I wear 33″ jeans, but measure 37″ around my hips — 37" is the number to use for your belt size.

    Fit & Flexibility

    Each belt offers about 4–5″ of size flexibility for a secure and adjustable fit.
    For best results:

    • Aim for 2″–6″ of open space between the belt ends when worn.

    • Example: if you measure 36″, choose a Medium — this gives roughly 3″ of open space.

    • Prefer your bags to ride further back? → Go slightly smaller.

    Why not use pant size?

    • Pants are made with materials that stretch to fit you. Our belts will form to you over time but are not "stretchy".
    • Clothing sizes vary, so a 36” skinny jean fits differently from a 36” relaxed fit.
    • Tool Belts are worn over your clothing; pants, regular belt, shirt, hoodie, etc.
    • Tool belts usually need to be 3”-7” larger than your waist size, depending on how you wear them.
  • Limited 2 Year Warranty: Occidental Manufacturing, Inc. offers a limited 2 year warranty for its Badger products sold within the United States and Canada. We will repair or replace (at Occidental’s discretion) any item or set component found to be defective in materials or workmanship within two years of the original retail purchase.

    What is covered:

    • Failures of buckles.
    • Issues with assembly.
    • Stitches coming apart.

    What is not covered:

    • Normal wear and tear, including abrasions, punctures, cuts, fading, etc.
    • An entire set when one component is in question.
    • Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse or alterations.
    • Cost of shipment to Occidental.
    • Return Shipping outside the United States.
    • Consequential damages, incidental damages or expenses, including damages to property.
    • Combination Sets: If a single component, such as a bag or belt, of a combination set is determined to be defective, only the defective component will be replaced or repaired.
    • Products shipped overseas internationally, please note that any Occidental/Badger Manufacturer warranty is not valid; manufacturer service options are not available.

    Repairs: Nylon Tool Bag Repair Policy - We do not offer repairs on our nylon gear due to the structural limitations of woven synthetic fibers. When nylon becomes torn or frayed, the integrity of the weave is compromised and cannot be re-stitched or restored to its original strength—only surface patching is possible. Because we do not provide patching services, replacement is recommended for compromised components to ensure continued safety and performance.

    It is important to understand the limits of these materials as much as their strengths. Please read our Recommended Care and Maintenance to keep you gear in top shape.

    Limited Warranty Of Occidental Mfg., Inc.

    Occidental Manufacturing, Inc. warrants that all Badger Tool Belts and Tool Bags will be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of two years from date of purchase. Seller’s sole obligation and your exclusive remedy under this Limited Warranty and, to the extent permitted by law, any warranty or condition implied by law, shall be the repair or replacement of parts, without charge, which are defective in material or workmanship and which have not been misused, carelessly handled, or mis-repaired by persons other than Occidental Mfg. Inc..

    To make a claim under this Limited Warranty, contact customer service for repair authorization and return instructions.

    Any implied warranties shall be limited in duration to two years from date of purchase.

    In no event shall seller be liable for any incidental or consequential damages (including but not limited to liability for loss of profits) arising from the sale or use of this product

    International Limitations

    For products shipped overseas internationally, please note that any Occidental Manufacturer warranty is not valid; manufacturer service options are not available. The products (and accompanying materials) may not be designed in accordance with destination country standards, specifications, and labeling requirements. You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

Orders

  • We're happy to accept returns on new, unused, and resalable items. Please try on your belt at home, before wearing it to the jobsite. We cannot accept returns on used, worn or tool scuffed products.

    Note:

    • Return requests must be made within 15 days of receiving your order.
    • Custom, Made-to-Order and Limited Edition products are non-returnable.
    • Returns can only be processed for orders placed directly from our website (all order numbers start with “BG”). On orders placed through our dealer network (including Amazon), you would need to contact the company you purchased it from.
    • Occidental/Badger is not responsible for shipping costs associated with returns or exchanges (unless it was our goof-up).
    • Items must be returned in new, unused, and resalable condition, along with a valid RGA (Returned Goods Authorization)
    • Refunds can only be made back to the original form of payment on the order.
    • A $25 restocking charge may be imposed on certain returns.

    Procedures:

    1. Request an RGA through our contact form below or by emailing us at service@badgertoolbelts.com. Please include your Name and Order Number, the item(s) you would like to return and the reason for the return.
    2. Your request will be reviewed, and an RGA number issued.
    3. Once we receive the items and process the return, you will receive an email notification of your refund. Please allow up to 7 business days for us to process your return and refund.

    Note for Exchanges

    To exchange an order, return your item for a refund following the procedures listed above. Then purchase the new/exchange item(s) at your convenience. If you need help with the new/exchange order, let us know. We are happy to help.

    BELT EXCHANGES – If you just need a different size belt, we can exchange just the belt (no bags). Send us your order information as above and let us know what size belt you need in exchange.

    Non-returnable items

    Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on used or worn products or gift cards.

    For Custom, Made-to-Order and Limited Edition products, because of the nature of custom work, once you order it, it is not returnable.

    Refunds

    We will notify you once your return is received and inspected. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 7 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

  • Orders ship from our northern California workshop within 1-2 working days after you place your order.

    We'll send you a Tracking Number by email once your order ships. If you have not received your tracking number, it may be in your filtered folders (junk, spam, updates, etc.).

    You can check the status of your order and order history on our website anytime by clicking the little person icon (upper right corner) or click here to visit our Order Status page.

    1. Enter the email address you used for the purchase.
    2. We'll email you a verification code.
    3. Use that code to log in to view your orders.
  • There are several common reasons why a payment might not go through:

    • Bank or Card Issuer Blocked the Transaction – Sometimes banks flag online purchases as a precaution, especially if it’s a new vendor or a larger amount.
    • Insufficient Funds or Credit Limit Reached– Double-check that your account has the funds or credit available.
    • Incorrect Payment Details – A mistyped card number, expiration date, CVV, or billing address can cause a payment to fail.
    • Fraud Protection Settings – Our store uses fraud detection tools to protect both you and us. If something seems off, the system may automatically block the order.

    We recommend checking your card details, confirming your billing info matches your bank records, or contacting your card issuer directly.

  • When a payment attempt is declined or fails for any reason, some banks may still show the attempt on your account as “authorized” or “pending” for a short period of time.

    This does not mean the payment went through—no funds are actually taken by us.

    Instead, your bank has placed a temporary hold while it confirms that the transaction will not be completed.

    Once your bank finishes processing, the pending authorization will automatically disappear, usually within a few business days (the exact timing depends on your bank’s policies).

    If you have any concerns or need help confirming the status of a specific transaction, we recommend contacting your bank directly, as they control when the pending status is released.

  • All orders are produced and shipped from our workshop in Northern California.

    • Ready-to-Ship / In Stock products: Ship in 1-2 business days

    • Made-to-Order products: Ship in 1–2 weeks

    • Specialty Mods / Custom products: Ship in 4–6 weeks

    A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order ships.
    Delivery times vary based on your location and the shipping method selected.
    Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.

    International Shipping

    Our prices do not include VAT, import tariffs and customs duties.
    These fees are collected by the courier at the time of delivery. Customers are responsible for these fees and any return shipping/customs charges if the delivery is refused.
